田辺市国際交流センターは、住民と外国人の皆さんの交流の場を作ることにより、お互いの文化・習慣などへの理解を深め、市民レベルでの国際交流を計ることを目的にさまざまな活動をしています。
The Tanabe International Exchange Center was established with the concept in mind of creating a place where local residents and foreigners could meet and deepen their understanding of each other's respective cultures and customs. The center is involved in a variety of activities in an effort to stimulate international exchange at the grass roots level.

国際交流に関する相談、情報提供、外国の方の日常に関する相談に応じます。
Information and Advice Corner
The staff provides information related to international exchange and daily life in Japan and English.
情報コーナー
コンピューターの利用やインターネットの一般開放もしています。
海外に関する情報や国際交流イベントなどの情報を掲示しています。
Access to Information beyond Japan
Computer and internet access is available to the general public.
Information about foreign countries and international exchange events can also be obtained from the center.
図書・資料コーナー
辞典、絵本、小説、雑誌、英字新聞等を置いており、自由に閲覧できます。
また、一部の本は貸出（2週間以内）もしています。
Library and Resources
The center library has reference books, dictionaries, illustrated books, novels, pamphlets, newspapers, etc.
Two-week loan system available for novels.
談話テーブル
住民と外国人が気軽に交流できるところです。
勉強会、ミーティングなどにもご利用できます。
Conversation Table
The center offers a casual atmosphere where Japanese and foreigners can meet, study or just relax.
自転車の貸出
この地域を訪れる外国の方々や、在住される外国人の方々に無料でお貸しします。
Bicycle loan system
Foreign visitors and residents can borrow bicycles free of charge.
